Peer Mediators
A peer mediator is someone who can see both sides of a disagreement and help others to come to a solution themselves. The aim of peer mediation is for us “Peers” to resolve conflict within the school playground using mediation.

Friendship Buddies
Friendship buddies help other children to find people to play with and games to play if they are by themselves. We provide fun activities for all children to join in with.

Play Leaders
We encourage children to be more active in sports and engage with physical activity and participate in a range of activities. This in turn will lead us, young people, to adopt healthy lifestyle choices.

Digital Leaders
The Digital Leaders programme is designed to train selected pupils to be experts and advocates of using appropriate technologies in schools, allowing them to act as ambassadors and peer mentors for staff and other pupils. Each Digital Leader will have access to a comprehensive training programme to help them develop their skills and understanding of the role of a ‘Digital Leader’. Key Digital Leader skills and knowledge developed through the programme include:
- Ability to describe and model the safe and responsible use of a range of technologies.
- Demonstrate appropriate knowledge and understanding of specific technologies relevant to our school.
- Demonstrate good communication skills and collaborate effectively with staff and pupils.
- Understand the concept of Pupil Voice and become a conduit for this across the school with reference to the use of innovative digital and mobile technology.
